What’s next?

Part One

The last two months, I have been busy planning and researching for the next book in the series ‘Arrow of Time: The Dragons Egg’. My desk is littered with paper, heavy books, maps and so forth. Book two in the series will take place on earth and Unas. I had originally written my second novel ‘King of the North’ last year, but as time went by I felt it right that I should make that my fourth in the series and that I needed to include two new books, with story lines that are vital to the journey. I will be introducing several new characters, so let me introduce them too you briefly. They are split into two groups; Group one – Characters of Earth and Group Two – Characters of Unas. Not very creative I know, but let’s keep this simple. In this part I will introduce you to group one.

Group One – Characters of Earth

·        Eveline (Celestine) – Main character and protagonist. Heir to the throne of Calnuthe and Aurelius’ .

·        Theodore – Main character who is both a protagonist and antagonist. Husband of Eveline and guardian.

·        Reverend Matthew – Secret leader of the free masons and guide. He is helping Eveline to find her way to the island of Anglesey, where she can transport herself back to Unas through the stone circle of Eisteddfod.

·        Olivia Chittick – Intuitive and clever, Olivia is recruited by Matthew to join the order of guardians, in which to protect Eveline from the Knights of Hell, who are on the hunt for the Queen. She is not the easiest of people to understand or befriend, but she is quick, clever, intuitive and sharp. She is married to Andrew Dunbar who is a History lecturer at Edinburgh University, currently serving in the Scots Guards, fighting in Egypt.

·        William Talbot – A professor of Philosophy at Warwick University. He was once a pupil of Ravinston, School of Magic based on the island of Anglesey. William is smart, direct and charming. However his charming exterior masks his true person, a person who is grieving for the death of his first love. He is flirtatious and friendly and easy to be around, but lacks the emotions to be truly understanding. He and Olivia strike up an unlikely friendship. He alongside Olivia, mentors Eveline on magic and the history of magic. He was also once a pupil of the great wizard, Merlin who resides upon the Isle of Man.

·        Edward Linley – Professor of ancient antiquities and archaeology at Brodie School of Magic, located on the island of Stornoway in Scotland. He is a born debater and likes to play the devil’s advocate, despite being a devoted husband and father. He and Eveline strike up a good friendship, he being a father figure.

·        Alsandair Cellach – Headmaster of Ravinston and brother of Merlin. Alsandair gives the order of guardian’s refuge and takes Eveline under his wing until the summer solstice arrives and she passes through the stones.

·        Merlin - He is the high priest of the druids, brother of Alsandair and father of Anvin, the High Priest of Meer. Merlin and the high order of druids reside on the Isle of Man. He is an ancient being and Eveline finds it hard to connect with him, he being quiet, reserved and distant. It is Merlin that truly sees inside Eveline and tests her during her stay on the island. He is the key to her past and future and without warning has a rare and terrifying glimpse into her future.

·        Adragon – A knight of Hell and servant of Lagar. He is known as the demon of fear. Adragon is able to sense a person’s fear and use it to his advantage, he can also hypnotise his prey and bring to life the creatures of the underworld. He is so powerful that Lagar himself had to kill him, when he changed his allegiance to Aedon, brother of Lagar.

·        Zazel – A knight of Hell and servant of Lagar. He is known as the demon of wrath. Zazel has several powers: power of concealment, manipulation, swordsmanship, temptation, possession and destruction.

·        Nacramos – A knight of Hell and servant of Lagar. He is known as the demon of lust. Nacramos powers include: uses sexual desire in order to weaken his prey, can take the identity of his prey’s lover, manipulate, temptation and kiss of death.

·        Belzamon – A knight of Hell and servant of Lagar. He is known as the demon of greed.
