Battle of the Gods

North

Meer is steeped in religious history and conflict (which will be highlighted within the timeline). Until the fall of the angels, those within the kingdoms of Meer believed in various God and Goddesses. These Gods and Goddesses are still relevant in today’s world and you meet them through ancient stories and monuments within royal palaces and castles. After the fall of the angels religion changed for all those within Meer and not always to the benefit of those within the three Kingdoms. Religious wars began to sprout up again and again. We can pin point the real change in 234 m where an angelic prophet called Gabrenne, who professed to be the son Gabriel, Heiden’s messenger from Heaven made his way through the three kingdoms spreading the word of Heiden , using incredible powers to captivate his audience thus the old world began to ebb away. Galean and his family can trace their roots back to Gabrenne and it is because he was truly the son of Gabriel that the Kings evermore had a longer life span and greater abilities, many abonding Unas for Heaven.
The conflict between the old world and new climaxed in the year 567 AS where after years of tribal warfare, the Kingdoms of Galgor (King Alfir) and Dulthe ( King Gudbran, ancestor to Gabrenne)went to war against one another, one aiming to banish the other of its religious views. This battle is famously known as the battle of the Gods. Before the year 756m (King Baran) the three Kingdoms were ruled by different Kings. King Gudbran won the battle and took Alfir’s crown, claiming Galgor as part of his Kingdom. Fifty years later, King Gudbran died and his son Gudorr became King. Five years after taking the throne he invaded the kingdom of Fiar in what is known as the battle of the Kings which lasted for seven years.
